I've read all the Discworld books many times (ever since I picked up the library copy of Eric that was lying around the house, at the age of about 9), but for some reason those featuring the Ankh-Morpork City Watch have always been my favourites. I don't know why.

This site is my tribute to that fine body of men (for as we all know, a Watchman is a Watchman, even if he is a woman or a troll). It's a miscellaneous collection of information gathered from the books in which the Watch feature. I hope it's useful to someone somewhere, though I can't for the life of me think how it could be. So its secondary goal is to be entertaining, even if it's only in a 'Ye gods, someone has too much time on their hands' sort of way.
