As you may have noticed, The Ankh-Morpork City Watch House hasn't been updated for some time, and at the moment, it doesn't look as if it will be updated any time in the near future. The reasons for this are complex, and some are to do with things like starting a university course and moving away from home, but the main reason is that I just don't have the interest in Discworld that I once had. I still enjoy it, but I'm not as passionate about it as I was when I wrote this site, and I now spend my web designing time elsewhere (my current favourite site of mine is Pearl's Domain). For the same reasons, I won't be updating the 'Members of the Watch' pages any more, either, and may take these pages down soon. I hope that you understand, and that you'll continue to enjoy the Watch House for what it is. I agree that it's a shame, and there's a lot I would like to do to this site, but sadly there are only 24 hours in the day and I have to direct my attentions elsewhere.

Update: OK, so I basically said I was abandoning the site, then I gave it a huge redesign. What gives? Well, I recently started doing some professional web design work (nothing fancy, but at least I get paid!) and frankly the Watch House was the site I was most embarrassed of, design-wise. So I decided to spruce it up a bit. I hope you like it! Most of the content is exactly the same, but I've removed the 'Join the Watch' page because I didn't process the responses I got and just felt guilty about it. So it's gone. Um, yeah, that's it.
