Course Notes

Aim To give an introduction to the internet of email and the world wide web
Audience Those with little or no knowledge of the internet
On the Course Through lecture, discussion but primarily 'hands on' students will send and receive email, browse the web and use a search engine.
At the end of the Course Students should be able to
  • Use a Browser
  • Use a Search Engine
  • Know about email and 'Spam'
and have an idea about
  • The structure of the Internet
  • The world WideWweb
