1. What are strawberry bootlaces?
That's easy. But first, a few things that they are not. They are not strawberry whips. They are not red liquorice. And you don't tie your shoes with them. Strawberry bootlaces are long, thin, red gummy sweets, with a pleasant taste of strawberry. They are very, very yummy.

2. Where can I get some?
If you live in the UK, this question is very easy - bootlaces can be found in the confectionery sections of Woolworths, Tescos, Sainsburys, Safeways, and probably most other supermarkets. Elsewhere, you have a problem. As far as we can discern, bootlaces are not sold at all in the US, and though some flavours are available in Germany, strawberry is also difficult to find in Europe. Consequently I sometimes feel like I'm running an export trade in bootlaces.

3. Where is the Temple of the Strawberry Bootlaces?

Currently at the temple you can find comparisons of different types of bootlaces, and you can send virtual bootlaces to all your friends. New sections are planned and may come into force soon.

Probably. This one really is a frequently asked question. But, it had to be done, and I seemed to be the woman for the job.

7. What have strawberry bootlaces got to do with Starlight Express?
First off, I'd better say that the bootlaces/StEx thing is almost totally my fault. There are two ways that the bootlaces became involved with StEx. Firstly, when Sarah and I first met up with Pally, Thingy and Boushgirl back in November, we took some bootlaces. The other three hadn't seen any for years and we all ate them happily. Now, we always eat bootlaces at the Apollo Vic. Secondly, when Kae and I were writing StEx and Candy (our first story - it can be found at Volta's Domain), I started it off by saying that Electra was involved in an Evil Plot to drug all the bootlaces in Apollo Victoria. The plot went on from there. A lot of people read that story, and now they all associate bootlaces with StEx as well.

8. I saw some bootlaces tied to a railing in the standing section at the Apollo Vic. Is that anything to do with you?
Not directly......they were probably tied there by the AHFC. As I said above, I'm probably indirectly responsible for everything that connects bootlaces and StEx, but I didn't tie them myself. Oh no.
