1. Arlene Phillips, the choreographer, also choreographed a song called 'Every Sperm is Sacred' from 'Monty Python's The Meaning of Life'.

2. In the German production of the show, the fourth finalist (after Greaseball, Electra and Poppa) was Weltschaft, the German train, not Bobo the French train as in the British production. No comment.

3. All these people have been in Starlight Express:
- Danny John-Jules, Rocky on the OLC (Cat in Red Dwarf, Barrington in Maid Marian and her Merry Men)
- Anna Kumble, Spare Carriage in London 1997/98 (better known to the pop music world as 'Lolly')
- Natalie Powers, Dinah in London 1997/98 (member of the pop band 'Scooch')
- Claire Buckfield, ? (Jenny in 2.4 Children)
- Jane Krakowski, original Dinah on Broadway 1987 (Elaine in Ally McBeal)
- Saffron from Republica was in the show for two years
- Melanie Brown trained in the Skate School in 1995 ('Scary Spice' in the Spice Girls)
- the pop group E-male (well, they only released one single......) was made up entirely of Starlight Express cast members (Adam Floyd, Chris Copeland, Julian Essex-Spurrier, Jason Pennycooke and Paul Aloysius), two of whom returned to the show and are still cast members (Chris (Electra) and Adam (last year's Nintendo, now a spare engine)).

4. 'U.N.C.O.U.P.L.E.D.' is a parody of a Tammy Wynette song called 'D.I.V.O.R.C.E.'.

5. As a rough estimate, over 800 people have been in productions of Starlight Express (to work this out - there have been approximately 41 casts in total (17 in London, 13 in Bochum, 5 in Las Vegas, 1 in New York, 1 in Mexico City, 2 on the US/Canadian tour and 2 on the Japanese/Australian tours), and if you say each has had about 20 members then 41 x 20 = 820. In reality, each cast has nearer 40 members, but assuming 20 accounts for all the duplicates). 800 is a conservative estimate - the number may be nearer 1000 (and if anyone wants to go over to the cast pages and count all the different names, feel free! =) ).

Okay, so this is a bit empty at the moment, but if you have any more things that you don't think anyone knows but you, then email me. I want to know.
