The Starlight-Express-Theater, as its name suggests, was specially built for this production. It is in the Guiness Book of Records twice, as the first theatre built specifically for one production, and also the theatre built in the least amount of time.

The inside of the building looks more like a stadium than a theatre. There is a clear view of the entire stage - and the entire racetrack - from every seat. A friend who had seen the London show once asked me, after seeing these pictures, where the screens were. No screens are necessary.
