I've finally succumbed, and produced an award of my own to give out. And here it is, in all it's glory:

Be warned that Pearl can be quite picky when she wants to be, and I'm only going to give the award to people who:
a) submit their site using the form below (easy bit) and
b) reach my minimum standard (not so easy bit).

These are the requirements:

1. Reasonable level of basic English
Okayish grammar, not too many spelling mistakes or typos. Obviously I'll make allowances for those for whom English is not their first language (complaining about a German person's English when I can barely manage basic German doesn't seem overly fair).

2. Original content
The most important part. You must have something (info, pictures, ideas) that no one else has.

3. Very few broken links or pictures
Simply because those are two things that make me cross, and I can't be alone on that one.

4. Stickiness
Do I want to go back? Ever? If yes, then you've passed this one. Note: lots of 'under construction' signs doesn't count as stickiness. It just counts as annoyingness.
