Thomas KNIGHT of the parish of Bury county of Sussex ..... in ill health ..
I give and bequeath unto my son John KNIGHT £10 and I do hereby freely forgive my said John all and such sum and sums of money as shall appear due and owing from him to me at the time of my decease .... unto my grandson Robert KNIGHT son of my late son James KNIGHT £40 at age 21 years with interest from my decease up to the time of his attaining that age .... all my estate Term of years and Interest of and in the Farm and lands which I now use and occupy situate in the parish of Bury aforesaid unto my son Richard KNIGHT his executors and assigns ... Also I give my farming stock ... household goods .... money and securities .... unto my two good friends Richard TALBY of Bury aforesaid yeoman anad Richard Key SALT ... shall value all my said farming stock ... and make over the same unto my son Richard KNIGHT .... I hereby direct that my said son Richard KNIGHT shall pay one half part of the money unto my said trustees ... at which the same shall be valued at within 24 calendar months next after my decease  And I hereby  direct and it is my intent and meaning that my said son Richard KNIGHT shall give and execute unto my said Trustees ..  a good security for payment of the amount at valuation at the time and manner aforesaid ... then upon further trust that they my said trustees ... shall pay and equally divide the same ... unto and between and amongst all and every of My children William KNIGHT Sarah KNIGHT Richard KNIGHT Edward KNIGHT George KNIGHT and Charles KNIGHTshare and share alike ... said son Richard KNIGHT sole and full exor... dated 15th February 1808
