Elizabeth Bowra of East Grinstead and James SCOTT of West Hoathly, Sussex were married at East Grinstead, Sussex on 28th June 1762.
Elizabeth was baptised on the 13th July 1737 at East Grinstead the daughter of John and Elizabeth BOWRA.
This is the only baptism for this couple, perhaps they moved, one died and the survivor remarried or both died.
However there are these baptisms at St Swithuns, East Grinstead

  • Sarah Bowra 1734, daughter of John & Sarah and buried 1741
  • Elizabeth Bowra 1737 (above), daughter of John & Elizabeth

  • A John Bowra and Sarah Taylor were married at St Swithuns,East Grinstead in 1733.
